2023 Blooom Fund Recipient

The Seed plans to use their Bloom Fund grant to launch a reusable coffee tumbler project. Called BORN A GOOD SEED, these custom Miir tumblers will contribute to a cleaner environment by reducing the amount of plastic cups, lids, and straws. Customers who purchase a reusable mug will receive 10% off their order and exclusive perks. 

Investing in reusable coffee tumblers is a more sustainable choice for the business and planet. Reducing plastic consumption lessens the amount of new raw materials used which saves energy and reduces greenhouse gas emissions, reduces the amount of waste that needs to be recycled or sent to landfills, and saves The Seed and their customers at all five locations money in the long run. 

Bloom Fund

Counter Culture Coffee collects $0.01 from every pound of coffee sold to fund our Bloom program. Annually, $1 per pound of our spring coffee blend, Perennial, goes to further increase our contribution. Bloom provides grants to support sustainability initiatives at Counter Culture Coffee partner cafes. Rooted in the belief that everyone’s path toward sustainability looks a little different, this program supports projects of all shapes and sizes our partners identify as impactful.
